Kohandè is situated in the scenic Leeuwkloof Valley Conservancy in Gauteng, just northeast of Pretoria at De Wagensdrift, which makes it the ideal destination for nature lovers.

Kohandè is within a 48,7 km drive of Pretoria, Johannesburg, East and West Rand as well as O. R. Tambo International Airport. The property is only 20 km away from Cullinan, which is known worldwide for its diamonds.

The Dinokeng Big 5 reserve is virtually on our doorstep. The area is malaria-free and boasts a very moderate climate. The roar of the lions can be heard in the early hours of daybreak, what a lovely sound it is.

Free-roaming game such as Kudus, Impalas and Nyalas can be viewed at your leisure. Kohandè is a birdwatcher’s paradise with abundant birdlife. Hornbills, flycatchers, and many more inhabit the valley.

There are 3 luxury tents, Marlothii, Castonea and Ferox unit.  Very private to enjoy a romantic well earned. breakaway. 

Each tent has been upgraded with a wood-fired hot tub, consisting of a wood-burning furnace that heats the hot tub. The umbrella on the patio provides shade in the summer and even keeps the drizzle of rain away.

This luxury safari tent contains of a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and hand washbasin. All the linen and bedding are provided.

There is a fan to cool off during the hot summer nights and an electric blanket to sleep warm and cozy in the cold months.

The unit has a well-equipped kitchenette with a gas hob, a microwave oven, and a fridge-freezer, all cutlery and crockery, and all braai utensils are included. Each tent has a private boma with braai facilities, as well as its own parking next to the tent.

The swimming pool is nested in the bush, for a quick splash in the sunny days!
